Which annexes does your EIC Accelerator proposal actually need?

The 2026 templates changed what you upload, how long it can be and which files you submit deliberately blank. Answer five questions and get the exact list for your case — with the page caps, the formats, and the specific traps in the official files that cost applicants a resubmission.

1 · Which stage are you preparing?

2 · Which funding form are you requesting?

This is the single most consequential answer. It decides which templates you complete, which you upload blank, and whether the ownership control declaration applies to you at all.

3 · Which topic?

5 · Does your project include a clinical study?

Always download the templates from your own live call in the Funding & Tenders Portal. This tool reflects the official files dated 6–11 November 2025 and 1 January 2026. Where your call publishes something newer, your call wins.

Want the annotated version?

We keep a working reference on the 2026 document set: the full 1.1–3.3 question map, the exact tables in the implementation plan, the workbook structures with their hard-coded rates, and the mock-interview question bank the NCP network has collected over the years. Leave an address and we will send it.

What changed for 2026, in one paragraph

Part B version 2.0, published 6 November 2025, is the first simplified template for the 2026 Work Programme, and it broke with the version before it in three ways at once. The narrative dropped to 20 pages including the cover page. The question architecture became three topic areas — Technology, Market, and Team/Financial needs/Implementation — mapping one-to-one onto Excellence, Impact, and Level of risk, implementation and need for Union support. And the work-package machinery moved out of Part B entirely into a separate 10-page implementation plan annex. If you are writing against a template you downloaded before November 2025, your material is in the wrong documents, and that is a cheap thing for an evaluator to notice.

One quieter change catches people out. The ownership control declaration used to be triggered by AI and quantum applications. In 2026 it is triggered by Challenge 2.4, Critical Raw Materials — and only for grant-only requests. Blended finance and equity-only proposals under 2.4 do not file it.

The traps that are in the official files themselves

These are not applicant mistakes. They are hazards built into the templates, and knowing them in advance saves a resubmission or a wrong number.

Constants worth memorising

Your annexes are complete. Is your case?

Formatting compliance earns no points. Upload your dossier and get an independent, criteria-aligned review in 5–8 minutes — every finding names where it sits in your text, which criterion it damages and how to fix it. The score preview and two priority fixes are free.
