1. The service
GrantWise provides automated, simulated pre-submission assessments of funding proposals. It may produce scores, qualitative verdicts, findings, drafting patterns and revision priorities. It is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the European Commission, EIC, Eureka or any funding authority.
2. No funding prediction or professional advice
The output is probabilistic quality-assurance support, not an official evaluation, eligibility decision or legal, financial, scientific or investment advice. You remain responsible for verifying the applicable call documents, facts, calculations, rights and submission. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, funding or a particular score.
2a. Automated generation and your duty to verify
Reports are produced by automated systems, including large language models. Such systems can be confidently wrong: a score, a quoted figure, a criterion reference or a stated requirement may be inaccurate even when the surrounding text reads convincingly. You must independently verify every fact, figure, deadline, eligibility statement and call reference before you rely on it or act on it, and you must read the official call documentation of the relevant funding programme yourself.
You must not submit any text taken from a GrantWise report to a funding authority without verifying it, and you must not present a GrantWise report to a funder, investor or third party as an official or independent evaluation. You are the author of your application and you are solely responsible for its accuracy. Providing inaccurate information to a public funding authority can carry serious consequences for you, including rejection, withdrawal of an award, recovery of funds and exclusion from future funding, and we accept no responsibility for those consequences.
3. Ordering and payment
A free score preview may be offered before purchase. One-off prices are €50 for EIC Accelerator Stage 1, Innowwide and Innovasjon Norge Oppstartstilskudd 1, and €150 for EIC Accelerator Stage 2, EIC Transition, ERC Proof of Concept, Horizon Europe, Eurostars, Innovasjon Norge Oppstartstilskudd 2 and SkatteFUNN. Volume packages for professional teams are quoted separately and invoiced. Prices are in euro. Any tax that applies is calculated and displayed at checkout before you pay. Stripe processes payment and we never receive your card details. No subscription starts from a one-off review. Prices shown at checkout control if the website and these terms temporarily differ. Introductory pricing may change for future orders; it does not alter an order already completed.
4. Immediate delivery and your right of withdrawal
A review is digital content supplied immediately: the report is generated before you pay and is released to you as soon as payment is confirmed.
If you are a consumer in the EU or EEA you normally have fourteen days to withdraw from a distance contract — in Norway under the Right of Withdrawal Act (angrerettloven), and elsewhere in the EEA under the national law implementing the Consumer Rights Directive. By completing the purchase you expressly request that we begin supplying the digital content immediately, and you acknowledge and consent that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal once supply has begun. This is stated at checkout as well as here.
If you would prefer to keep your withdrawal right, do not complete the purchase — contact us instead and we will arrange delivery after the withdrawal period. Nothing in this section limits your rights where the content supplied is faulty or not as described.
4a. Delivery, and our satisfaction guarantee
The full report is normally delivered by email after confirmed payment. If delivery fails, the service may display the report in the browser.
Guarantee. In addition to your statutory rights, and separately from them, we offer this voluntary promise: if a report you paid for gives you nothing you consider worth acting on, email us within 14 days of delivery and we will refund it in full. You do not need to justify the request. This is a commercial commitment we choose to make because we have not yet published a benchmark against official evaluation results, and we would rather carry that uncertainty than ask you to. It applies once per customer per programme; we may decline it where the service is being used to obtain reports repeatedly without payment.
Contact us at any time if a paid report is materially incomplete or cannot be delivered; we will retry, correct the service or refund. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected by anything in this section.
5. Your documents
You confirm that you are authorised to upload the proposal and related material, and that doing so does not breach any confidentiality obligation, consortium agreement or third-party right binding on you. Uploaded files are transmitted securely to Google Cloud/Vertex AI for transient EU processing and are not retained by GrantWise after the review is generated. A generated report and delivery email may be held for up to seven days for the preview/unlock flow. See the Privacy Policy for details.
5a. Business customers and personal data
If you upload a proposal that contains personal data of other people — for example CVs, named team members or partner contacts — and you do so in the course of your own business or on behalf of a client, you act as the data controller for that personal data and GrantWise acts as your processor. Our Data Processing Agreement applies to that processing, forms part of these terms, and sets out our obligations, our subprocessors and the safeguards used for international transfers. A signable copy is available at the same page. If you require your own DPA to be executed, contact [email protected].
6. Intellectual property
You retain rights in your uploaded content. To the extent we hold any rights in the report generated for you, we assign them to you on payment, so that you may use, adapt and incorporate the report into your own proposal and internal professional work without further permission. GrantWise retains rights in its software, review profiles, evaluation methods, skill corpus, report design and brand, none of which transfer with a report. You may not extract the service or knowledge base at scale to build a competing product.
7. Acceptable use
Do not upload material unlawfully, attempt to bypass security or payment, overload the service, use output to mislead a funder, or represent a GrantWise report as an official evaluation.
8. Availability and liability
The service is provided with reasonable care but may be temporarily unavailable. To the extent permitted by law, liability for ordinary negligence is limited to the amount paid for the affected review. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
9. Privacy and providers
Current service providers include Cloudflare for website delivery, Google Cloud/Vertex AI for EU-region processing, Firestore for temporary generated-report storage, Resend for email, Stripe for payment, and PostHog (EU hosting) for website analytics where you have accepted analytics. Provider use may change as described in the Privacy Policy and, for business customers, in the Data Processing Agreement.
10. Law, disputes and changes
Norwegian law applies. The agreed venue is Søndre Østfold tingrett, the district court for our registered office, subject to the paragraph below.
If you are a consumer resident in the EU or EEA, nothing here deprives you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your own country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of your place of residence. If you are a consumer resident in Norway, you may instead take a dispute to the Norwegian Consumer Authority (Forbrukertilsynet) for mediation and, if unresolved, to the Consumer Complaints Committee (Forbrukerklageutvalget); see forbrukertilsynet.no. Consumers elsewhere in the EEA can also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Beyond the statutory Norwegian bodies named above, we are not obliged to and do not undertake to participate in any other alternative dispute resolution scheme.
We may update these terms for future orders; the version accepted when ordering governs that order. Material changes are published on this page with a new effective date.
11. Contact
Questions about these terms, and data protection matters: [email protected], or Viresta AS, Lokaltunet 18, 1626 Manstad, Norway. Because we are established in the EEA, no representative under GDPR Article 27 is required; our supervisory authority is Datatilsynet (datatilsynet.no). See the Privacy Policy.
